Models No. 6010BVR
New Tool

Description MAKITA 10 mm Drill

CONCEPTION AND MAIN APPLICATIONS
The model 6010BV is the sister version
of the existing 6510SB, developed in
reply to the demands from overseas
users who request the type with upgraded
by one rank. This is the non-step variable
speed 10 mm Drill having the reasonable
cost, design and functions, developed for
further expanding the sales market.
The model 6010BVR comprises the reversing
function which has been additionally built in the said model.

Standard equipment
Chuck key complete S10 One piece

Features and benefits
1. The built-in ball bearing, the increased gear reduction ratio and the increased motor power have enabled the
machine power to be extremely improved.
2. Since the gear is composed of the cutting parts, the gear noise has been reduced.
3. Not only that the chuck has been changed, but the design has been renewed and the carry hook and the housing
have been incorporated as the one body to make this machine much more advanced.
4. In order to make operation more easy, the variable speed function is used.

The standard equipment for the tools shown may differ form country to country
Capacity
The below table shows the data for the comparison with the #6510SB in capacity while the drill for steel is used for
drilling the soft steel plate and the drill for wood is used for drilling the Lauan, Keyaki and New Zealand pine under
the power voltage of 115V.

t=60 15mm
Marks on the table : :Good drilling(boring) condition

:Can be drilled(bored) although the motor turning becomes slow down

X :Impossible to drill(bore)

1. Since the full speed is too fast for drilling the soft steel plate, the best speed for meeting the cutting condition
should be adjusted by the use of switch.
2. The boring(drilling) conditions for any of Lauan, Keyaki and New Zealand pine are good.

Disassembling/assembling(Tool used : + Screw driver)
To disassemble, disconnect the 7 pieces of pan head screws. If the nut pressed inside the housing has been
disconnected, strongly insert it in assembling.
