Subject: Lens and CRT Replacement Caution Symptom: (1332) CAUSE:

Poor corner focus after replacing the CRT. Two types of lens and CRTs were used in this model. It is essential that the correct CRT's and Lens match occur. Poor corner focus will result if an incorrect CRT and Lens match occurs! When replacing either the CRT or Lens the servicer should confirm what type CRT's and lenses are present in the set. Please refer to the information below for the correct CRT and Lens configuration. USPL lens must only be used with the CRT's listed under the USPL column. Sekinos lens must only be used with the CRT's listed under the Sekinos column Service is authorized to mix USPL Lens/ CRT configuration with Sekinos Lens/ CRT configuration within the same set as long the correct CRT & Lens is used. For the case of a servicer replacing a CRT that has a Sekinos Lens and corresponding CRT is unavailable, a CRT listed under the USPL column may be used as an authorized substitution. However, the Sekinos lens must be replaced with a USPL Lens.

For the case of a servicer replacing a CRT that has a USPL Lens and the corresponding CRT is unavailable, servicer must wait until CRT stock becomes available. (The Sekinos Lens will not be a stocked replacement part at W. R. P. C.)
