Symptom / Intermittently a popping noise is heard from the subwoofer.
Cause:

Remedy / This modification applies to all units prior to: **6C*******
Method: Order and fit kit part number RFKZHTB580KT consisting of:

REE1749-J 1 GND wire
F1H1H102B052 1 1000pF/50V chip capacitor
F1H1H100B052 4 10pF/50V chip capacitor
D0GB101JA065 4 100 ohm resistor

The modification consists of:
1. Add 1pc 1000pF/50V chip capacitors to the DAMP PCB
2. Change 4pcs resistors on the DAMP PCB from 0 ohm to 100 ohm
3. Add 4 pcs 10pF/50V chip capacitor to the DAMP PCB
4. Add GND wire between the Digital Receiver Module and the DAMP PCB
Make sure to install the GND wire (REE1749-J) when replacing the PCB (REP4869BA)

Step 1: Add 1pc 1000pF/50V chip capacitors to the DAMP PCB
