PREFACE
The Literature Catalog is published by Literature and Distribution
Services (LDS) to serve the documentation needs of Control Data's
sales force, system support personnel, field engineers, and
internal/external customers.
The catalog is comprised of seven sections:
o Control Data 4000 Series Documentation
o Hardware - Equipment Identification Number
This section lists hardware manuals by equipment identification
number for individual equipment. Product numbers are included
in parentheses after the equipment identification number.
o Hardware - Product/System Number
This section lists hardware manuals by product or system numbers
and many entries include a cross-reference to an equipment
identification number.
o Software - Operating System
This section lists software manuals by operating system and the
appropriate product set. Also, application manuals are printed
beneath the system number heading. If a software item runs on
more than one system, it is listed under each one.
o Miscellaneous
This section lists both hardware and software publications in
alphabetical order by title. Also included in this section are
promotional materials for ordering by Control Data sites only.
o Other Sources Of Literature
ASCENT Publications available from Integrated Information Systems.
o Quick Reference
This section lists the manuals by pUblication number.
