4 ­ FUNCTIONS AND COMPONENTS CHARACTERISTICS:
4.1 ­ Refrigerator Control: This model has an internal refrigerator control, located on the upper right corner of the cabinet. It has 4 graduations, Min., Med., Max. and OFF position, that turns on-off the refrigerator. Note: The Thermostat is preset at the factory to Medium position.

The temperature inside the product is dependent on the quantity of stored food and on the door opening frequency. For the better use of the product we advice: Refrigeration Control Minimum Medium Maximum Characteristic Use Cold days Not much food stored Door opened a few times Intermediate situation, not to much hot, food stored and door opening in the medium condition Hot days A lot of food stored Door opened many times

The Temperature is controlled by Thermostat located inside of the refrigerator control box. It turns on-off the compressor according the internal temperature and should be operate as follows: Thermostat Position Minimum Medium Maximum -3 -5 -8 On - 12 - 13 - 19 Off Note: These temperatures are referred on the thermostat bulb and 64F ( 180C ) ambient temperature. 4.2 ­ Compressor : This model is equipped with Embraco Compressor ­ EMI40HEP (240V/ 50Hz) which are prepared to work only with the R134A Fluid and can only be replaced with another of the same type. IMPORTANT · Do not use Chemical agents (Ex. Methyl Alcohol) for cleaning the system, because it is oxidant and damage the components of the Sealed Unit and mostly the Compressor · When repair the Sealed System, always change the Drier Filter, using a new equivalent for R134 A. 4.3 ­ Cooling Fluid Drying Filter : By operating with the R134A Cooling Fluid the Refrigerant Filter requires a greater quantity of drying element than the Filters used on products using the R12. Therefore, always use the original Drying Filter. When repair the Sealed System, always change the Drier Filter, using a new equivalent for R134 A. 4.4 ­ Capacitor It has a march capacitor with a capacity of 2 µF / 380VCA , their is function is help the compressor works efficient and not to execute startup 4.5 ­ Door and Gasket: The Refrigerator Door is fitted with polyurethane insulation and is foamed jointly with the Door Panel. The Gasket in turn is not foamed jointly with the Panel and Door, and is not screwed, and can be easily replaced by simply pulling it from bottom to top, and fitted again by just placing it from top to bottom as per the below figure. Such procedure ensures the Magnet will not break.

5 ­ MANUAL DEFROST SYSTEM:
Excessive Ice build-up is harmful to Refrigerator performance, the, defrost the Icemaker Compartment when the ice thicker is between 0,5 to 1,0 mm, as follows: Turn the refrigerator control to Off position Disconnect the power plug from the electric supply Remove all food from the Icemaker compartment Water from the melting ice will flow through the Drip Tray. When completed, remove the water and dry the Drip Tray. NOTE: Check the container frequently to avoid water overflow. Leave the door open during defrost e) Use a plastic scraper to remove frost NOTE: Do not use an ice pick, knife, or other sharp-pointed tool to defrost freezer. Damage can occur in the Evaporator. f) Replace all food g) Plug in the Refrigerator h) Adjust the refrigerator control, according with the use. a) b) c) d)

6 ­ REVERSE DOOR SWING:

a) To remove the removable counter (Fig. 1), carefully lift the rear and then the front part. b) Substitute the four adhesives tapes "A" (Fig. 1) on the Refrigerator by the new ones supplied with the unit.

c) Using a 8mm screwdriver loosen screws "B" (Fig. 2). Remove the door lifting it gently.

d) Remove plastic covers "C" (Fig. 3) and place them where screws "B" used to be.

e) Remove plastic cover "D" plastic bush "E" inverting their position (Fig. 4). f) Remove plastic bush "F" and place it in the hole located on the lower left side of the door.

g) Tilt your Refrigerator backwards 45º at most, and remove screws "G" (Fig. 5) h) They must be screwed to the upper left side of the Refrigerator. i) After assembling the door, turn and replace the removable counter pressing it slightly.

CHECK SOLUTION If installation is correct (heat Advise the consumer on the sources, sunshine, embedding, etc.) proper installation and minimum distance for embedding (10 cm on the top and rear and 3 cm on the sides).
