Load-Cell Testing in Practice

Application Note
What is a Load-Cell?
A load-cell is a device that is used to measure high compression, tensile force, high pressure, and weight. Load-cells
take many forms in order to accommodate a variety of uses in research and industry applications. Most current
designs use a strain gauge as the sensing element because it is able to measure tension, compression, and
shear forces.
