Subject: Cut Wires On Connectors CN616, CN1716 Date: March 11, 1996
Symptom:
(***) If you should come across cut wires on the Wire Harness assembly between the G board
CN616 or D board CN1716, please be aware it was done by the factory.
Solution: The factory changed the gauge of some of the wires between the connectors CN616 G
Board and CN1716 D Board. The cables were cut and the new gauge wires were added to the wire
harness connectors. Units produced after the serial numbers, see chart below, will not
contain these cut wires since the connector comes with the new gauge wire.
