Description Charger

CONCEPTION AND MAIN APPLICATIONS
DC1850 has been developed for charging 9.6V - 18V MAKTEC
series batteries of 1.3Ah, namely for charging the following
batteries.
* Battery 9050 9.6V/1.3Ah for model MT060 and MT062 H
* Battery 1250 12V/1.3Ah for model MT061 and MT063 L
* Battery 1450 14.4V/1.3Ah for model MT064
* Battery 1850 18V/1.3Ah for model MT065

Unscrew 4 pcs. of tapping screws and remove charger case as illustrated in Fig. 1.

( 1 ) Replacing circuit board
1. Disconnect the lead wires of transformer from circuit board with soldering iron. And separate old circuit board
from transformer.
2. Pass the two lead wires of transformer through the holes of new circuit board. And connect the lead wires to
circuit board with soldering iron. See Fig. 2.


After passing the lead wires,
inflect them for easy connecting and
connect to the new circuit board
by soldering as this illustration.

Make sure, that the 2 lead wires Circuit board
are not short circuited each other
by the solder of overflow.

( 2 ) Replacing power supply cord
1. Disconnect the lead wires of power supply cord from transformer with soldering iron. And take off old
power supply cord.
2. Pass the two lead wires of new power supply cord through the holes of transformer's terminals. And connect
the lead wires to transformer with soldering iron.

( 3 ) Replacing transformer
Refer to ( 1 ) "Replacing circuit board".

( 4 ) Mounting charger case
Mount charger case, with aligning the thermistor on the circuit boar with the thermistor acceptance
of charger case. See Fig. 4.
