Defect Corrections

No. Item Description
1 Correction for E001 There is a possibility (this is confined to the case of going into the sleep
during sleep mode) that the SSR used to deliver current to the fixing heater remains
turned On when the fixing heater relay turns Off. As the consequence of
this situation, there would be a load to the fixing heater relay next time
this relay is turned On, and in the worst case, fusing of the contact would
follow. When such fusing occurs at the same time the SSR is turned On,
E001-0001 (detection of abnormal rise in the fixing heater temperature)
would follow. To overcome this situation, a sequence in the program has
been added to ensure that the SSR turns Off when going into the sleep
mode and to also ensure that the SSR is turned Off when the fixing heater
relay turns Off.
