Subject: Correction of the firmware of DPMS (D&M Product Management
Server).
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.


Symptom: 1) Unit does not turn on when push the POWER button twice after
set the setting of "Power save mode" to "quick mode".
2) The unit can not connect to Ethernet with proxy condition.
3) When play a disk (BD-R/RE) which is recorded by SHARP BD recorder BD-
HDW20, only "katakana (ex. ...)" of a title recorded in BD-R/RE is not
displayed.
4) After completed "firmware update", following symptom occurs.
a) The following sentences appear and the network cannot be connected.
"Network problem. Make sure that the connection and network setting are
correct".
b) The tray cannot be opened. While press open button, window display
"open/close/loading" very fast.
5) The version of SACD FPGA is not indicated, and unit might be not updating
the firmware correctly.
6) The LPCM 192kHz or DolbyTrue HD 192kHz of Blu-ray Disc are reproduced
when unit is connected to TV with HDMI connection. The output audio signal is
changed to noise.
7) The synchronization of the image of the wallpaper is disturbed when pushing
the SOURCE button without SD card.

Solution: We corrected the firmware so that no malfunction occurs.

Please do not use Proxy for updating in the Network environment! If customer
uses setting of Proxy, the unit doesn't update the firmware properly

Caution: It is necessary to initialize the unit before the update work begins. The
customer has to initialize their BD/DVD Player. Please update the firmware after
you confirm this matter to the customer beforehand.

Updating the firmware (Refer to the Instruction Manual.)
1) Turn the Power Supply of the unit off.
2) Connect the Ethernet terminal of the unit to the Network line by Ethernet
straight cable. (Don't use Ethernet cross cable.)
3) The connection of the network recommends the Ethernet cable for certain
update.
4) Turn the Power Supply of the unit on.
5) Remove the Disc from the Tray.
6) Please confirm! "NO DISC" on the FL Display.
7) The unit sets the Internet. It wishes waiting for about two minutes until
customer's router ends the setting.

Caution: The update doesn't succeed when the customer's set cannot hook up to
the Internet correctly. In this case, please confirm the internet environment of the
customer's house. If Internet radio can be connected then the internet connection
is good. There are some problems under the internet environment when the
Internet radio can not be received.

8) Press "SETUP" button on the Remote control and indicates the GUI menu.
9) Press "CURSOR" button.
10) The GUI indicates, "Other Setup" > "Firmware Update".

Caution: The update interrupts when it is not possible to connect it with the
Internet correctly. In this case, please do from 1) again.

11) Select the "Start" on GUI.

12) Press the "ENTER" button.
13) The firmware will start updating.

Caution: When the firmware update starts correctly, the GUI and the audio
signal, etc. stop everything, and become the update operation.

14) When updating starts, the power indicator lights red.
15) The GUI display disappears, and becomes only FL display.
16) During update, a rough remaining time is indicated on the display. When
updating is complete the power indicator lights green and
