Notes on the Replacement of the Main Board (Handling of
Subject
C0180 Error)

Since no HDD is equipped on the models listed above, some data is saved on the main board instead.
Therefore, the following operations are required when the main board was replaced.
1. Execute the maintenance mode U004 to resolve machine number mismatch which appears after main board was
replaced.
2. Adjust the scanner image.
1) Input the value in the auto scanner adjustment chart in the maintenance mode U425.
2) Execute the maintenance mode U411 by applying the auto scanner adjustment chart.
3) Execute [Halftone adjustment] from the system menu.
3. Reactivate the license for the optional product(s) if any installed.
1) Reactivate the ID CARD AUTHENTICATION KIT B).
2) Register the ID card again in the maintenance mode U222.
4. Import data in the maintenance mode U917 if any was exported from the machine before the main board was
replaced. (The export and import can be also performed via KM-Net Viewer.)
5. Register the initial user settings and FAX settings from the system menu or the Command Center.
6. Execute the maintenance mode as follows if necessary.
