Subject: Method of cleaning of lens for optical pickup (KEM-410ADA).
This is information.

Symptom: BD/DVD/CD disc is not reproduced.

Solution: The lens of optical pickup might be dirty.
COUNTERMEASURE: When the Iop current is within +12/-12mA of initial saved
data for Iop current and BD/DVD/CD disc is not reproduced, the lens of optical
pickup might be dirty.
1) Liquid for cleaning: Ethanol 97% or more
2) Cotton bud:
Diameter of cotton swab must be 2.0mm.
The shaft of cotton swab must be wood or paper. Do not use plastic shaft.
3) Method of cleaning. (advice from Laser pickup parts company)
Dip the cotton swab into Ethanol and shake excess Ethanol from cotton swab.
Wipe the lens from center to outside of lens using a circular motion.
Caution!:
* Do not use dirty cotton bud for cleaning, because you will damage the lens.
* Do not press the lens strongly. Wipe the lens softly.
* Please connect your body to ground. Static electricity will damage the Laser
pickup.

Please apply the above modification to the models in the following serial
numbers.
