Subject: Countermeasure for improving the unit that is incapable of
outputting the sound signal when playing back particular CDDA Disc.
Symptom: When playing back the Track 12 (around 3 minutes from the
beginning) on the particular CDDA Disc (RICKSPRINGFIELD/karma), the Analog
sounds on the subsequent Tracks including the last Track are not heard.
Solution: The Back-end Audio Processing Software has been corrected.
MODIFICATION: (Upon Claim) First, upgrade the System MICON by means of
CD-R (ver.6542-5) rewriting the System MICON that has been supplied with
Service bulletin OST-831. Then, we will supply the following program file (GEN-
6334-G) for upgrading the Back-end ROM. Therefore, please record the following
program file onto a blank CD-R, and upgrade the Back-end ROM upon claim.
1) Please record the following program file for Back-end ROM on the blank CD-
R.
