4) PRETEST AND VISUAL INSPECTION
a) b) Check the handset aspect . Humidity sticker : a humidity sticker is placed on the antenna. Check its state to decide if it is under or out of warranty.

5) SOFTWARE DOWNLOADING
This software runs under WINDOWS NT with an ELIOS BENCH (see « Setting up of an ELIOS SYSTEM »on MDF server) 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Click on the icon : OTR BF4.exe Fill in the boxes (see « Use of an ELIOS bench » on MDF server) Click on : " LANCER LE LOT " Wait for the end of « Phase d'initialisation » Fill in the box « N°IMEI » with the IMEI number of the product A Green light is flashing on the position shown by the interface for downloading the product 7) Place the handset on this position 8) During the customization an Orange light is on 9) When the customization is OK a green light is ON *

11) BOARD EXCHANGE
In case the LEVEL 2 /LEVEL3 repair does not solve the failure , it is mandatory to change the board and apply the following process : 1) 2) 3) Print a copy of the IMEI sticker (1) placed on the faulty board and stick it on the swapped board . Let the previous IMEI sticker on the faulty board . Fill in the fault code sticker with the fault code,the short code and the Hardware Technical Level ( fault code sticker file : FC.lab see on MDF server)

Before using the software insert a battery in the interface ref : 24003364 Click on the icon , the following screen appears :

14.2) Software Technical level sticker
In any case it is mandatory to upgrade the indication of the technical level on the handset as the software has been upgraded (unless the upgrade software is the same as the previous software). A sticker indicating the software technical level must be sticked on the board as shown below :

15) FINAL TEST
The final test is divided into 2 parts : a functional part and a measurement part. 15.1 Functionnal test
During the functional test, the following points must be checked : · Cosmetic aspect of the handset, the Software Technical Level sticker state on the Board. · Switch on the handset · Welcome message (see " BF4 software documentation ") · The display and keypad backlighting · Functionning of all the keys (bip and display ) and the TPA positionning · Functionning of the vibrator (through the menu : My SetUp/Sound/Mode/Vibrator) · Plug of a charger : right position of the charger, display of the charge indicator

Take off the sticker protection on the front casing . Place the equipped front shell on the front casing : Place first, the inferior part of the front shell , take care of the positionning pin guide . In second stick the upper part of the front shell. Apply a pressure on the front shell to make sure of the good sticking . With an Ohm-meter check the good contact between the front shell and one of the shieldings on the board .
