Subject: Countermeasure for improving blinking IEEE1394 Indication.


Symptom: Under the following condition, the FL Display on the subject model
remains blinking and the sound is not outputted.
1) Connect the DVD-3910 to an AV Amplifier that is conformable to the
IEEE1394 via the IEEE1394 connection, and set to the IEEE1394 mode.
2) Approximately one second after turning off (standby off or turn off the primary
side of the Power supply) the Power of the Amplifier that is conformable to the
IEEE1394, turn off the Power of the DVD-3910 so that it turns into the Standby-
off mode.
3) The IEEE1394 indication on the FL Display of the DVD-3910 remains blinking
and the sound is not output when the Power of the DVD-3910 and the Amplifier
that is conformable to the IEEE1394 were switched on.


Solution: Corrected the standby-off process-software in the System MICON.
Record the supplied file onto a blank CD-R and upgrade your customer's unit
upon claim.
