Subject Change of the Main Charger Unit Packing

Phenomenon
It was confirmed in the field that the service part main charger unit could not be installed in the drum unit frame.
Regular Hook deformed to tilt to inside
Cause
The hook was compressed in the vacuum pack which caused the plastic deformation. Accordingly, it might not be
correctly latched to the drum frame.
Corrective Measures
The packing material was changed in order to prevent the hook from being deformed.
(1) The shape of the packing material was changed (2) A spacer was added to the inner side of the hook
to where the hook was compressed. to prevent the compression in the vacuum pack.
Cardboard pad partially cut out Spacer added to inner side of hook
KMC's Classification Entire Stock Rework In-Field modification at next visit
In-Field modification by case No modification necessary
Field Measure: Please replace the main charger unit with the one not deformed.
