Subject: Alteration of the Firmware.
Symptom: 1) Pixel Cropping at HDMI480P, Progressive Output.
2) Chroma Delay at the Progressive Output.
3) The unit operates as the Search Mode when the STOP button on the Remote
control for the CD was pressed.
4) Improving the frequency characteristics of the HDMI480P at the Progressive
Output.
5) Sound skips when playing back a particular DVD Audio Disc (Fragile, YES).
6) Additional specification for switching the AUDIO or VIDEO part of the DVD
Audio.
Solution: Corrected the Firmware so that the malfunction does not occur.
MODIFICATION: (Upon repair and/or refurbishing) Record the associated file
onto a blank CD-R and update the Firmware using the CD-R, whenever the unit
is brought into your service facility for any reason, and/or upon refurbishment of
the unit.
