2.3. Machine Installation
2.3.1. Machine Electricity Input

Check the plug-in whether it's connected properly to a main
electricity supply.

Do not use bad wires. A fire may be caused by short circuit.

Do not put a plug into a socket with a wet hand. You could
have an electric shock.

Putting several plugs into a socket may cause a fire.

2.3.2. Machine Installation and Storage

Do not leave it's wire near a heater, it might be melted or
have a short circuit.

Keep a device away from heat.

6

CJ11
CJ11 CJ11

It is important to keep a device away from an oil to avoid
the risk of fire.

Do not put a machine in a narrow space like built-in
furniture. The device may be damaged by high
temperature of over 30°C

2.3.3. Moving the Machine

Be careful not to drop the hand-piece. The lens inside the
hand-piece could be broken.

Do not tilt a machine.

Do not pour water or heavy materials on machine's upper
case.

Please make sure the device is switched off and
unplugged when a device is not in use.

7

CJ11
CJ11 CJ11

2.3.4. Machine Maintenance

Do not use equipment near things that could be easily
burnt out.

Only engineers are allowed to carry out a maintenance job
for safety reasons.

Don't force when unplug the electricity.

2.3.5. Warranty Period
Jeisys gives 1 year (12 months) warranty for machine (body, arm, laser Glass tube) and
hand-piece parts from the shipping date. Guarantee policies for any damage, defective,
or faulty will be compensated as free if the problems caused by deliberation or
negligence.

If there was problem or any inconveniences when using the machine, please login to
Jeisys After Sales Service homepage (http://as.jeisys.com:8080) and write the problem
through homepage or contact us at [email protected]. The fixing for
machine components will be done by distributor's engineering by following instruction
in Technical Manual.

4.11.5. ARM

Arm is a part of components to deliver laser beam light. The 10,600nm laser

radiation goes through seven mirrors and is delivered to the scanner handpiece.
Arm delivers guide beam for visualizing the area of treatment.
It is possible to rotate 360° to make treatment easier.

It is designed to prevent from swaying by fixing the arm to the arm rest.

CAUTION

Be careful to do not damage Touch LCD Screen by hand piece when turning

arm.

Do not pour detergent fluid directly on touch screen or device.

It may cause failure of device.

7.5.2. Hand piece Maintenance

Fractional handpiece should be kept clean at all the time.

Lens should be cleaned by a wet cotton swab soaked by ethanol 90% fluid as the

below picture.

If it is not cleaned thoroughly by the above method, instill ethanol one or two

drop on the surface of lens and wait for 3 to 5 seconds to make dust or foreign

substances soaked.

Once the dust or foreign substances are wet enough, wipe them by a cotton swab.

7.10 Measure Laser Power
Check the output power by using Ophir CO2 measure instrument; with arm and
without arm. Measure each power from 1W, 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W, 25W, until 30W
with allowance ±20% and 30% for higher power. There are there measurement points:
Machine socket, ARM and hand-piece. When measurement the laser power, make
sure the hand-piece and tip still connect with the machine.

7.10.1 Machine Socket Procedure

Put the power Meter same as the picture above, make sure the power meter stick with
laser output. Measure the output with Watt units. Measure each 5 Watt point different,
and it should add 4,3 Watt for each measurement point. Example: 1W on UI, real
measurement should be 5,3 Watt.

CJ11 CJ11

7.10.2 End of ARM

Put the Arm like in the picture above, place about 1 cm above the measurement tool.
Measure the output, no added point for this part. Measure per 5 Watt (5,10, 15 W, etc)
7.10.3 End of H/P

Put the full set hand-piece, like in the picture above, place about 1 cm above the
measurement tool. Measure the real output, no added point for this part, the real Watt
might drop around 20%.
The minimum power for 30 Watt (Maximum point) should at least 21Watt(±0.5Watt).
Testing Power Setting Surgical Mode :
CW : 5,10,~30W per 5W ±20%

The power table above, for measure in the socket part, procedure 5.11.1. The
measurement counts in Watt unit.
7.11 Laser Alignment
7.11.1 Guide Beam alignment
Open the side, front and rear cover from the machine.

Turn on the machine and align the Guide Beam.
(Notice: DO NOT shot the Laser Beam)

Separate the hand-piece from the arm and fold the arm until same as the picture
above.
Put the sign sticker on the , end of the arm. (See the previous picture and below)

Guide Beam

Initial Point Rotate the arm 180O
Align the Guide beam by turning the bolts on the red circle of the picture below.

Notice: there are two
types of bolt. One for
adjust the laser beam
and the other one for
locking the adjusted
position.

Initial Guide Beam

Move the pointer beam to the
direction between the initial guide
beam and after turn 180O guide beam.
Do several times (initial point and
180O point) until the alignment
correct.

7.11.2 Laser Beam Alignment
Two points JIGs.

Low points of laser align. High points of laser align.
When align the laser beam turn OFF the Guide beam.

7.11.2.1 Low Point Laser Beam
1. Put Low point Jig and sticker alignment like picture below on the laser source
without arm.

2. Mark on the sticker the Laser Beam shot result.
3. Align the Laser beam, by turning the bolts on the red circle of the picture below

2. Turn ON the guide beam and shot the laser.
The laser beam should be at same center position with guide beam. See the
picture below. Sign or mark the Guide Beam on wall, and shot the Laser
Beam. Compare the Guide Beam and Laser Beam position.
