Subject: Syncro Record Operation is Not Available when connected to an MDP Player Symptom: (**)

Date: April 5, 1996

Unable to Syncro record when connected to an MDP Player. This is due to different SIRCS codes used in MDP Players and CD Players.

Solution:

Explain to customers that Syncro record can only be used with a Sony CD player. Recording from an MDP to minidisc can be done manually using the front panel buttons or by using the individual units remote commanders.
