Laser Unit problem. (After the Polygonal Mirror Motor becomes active, the HSYNC from the Laser Unit is not detected at the specified times (41 +10 times per 20 msec.) Laser Unit connector disconnected. Laser Unit inside wire harness problem. Polygonal Mirror Motor rotation problem. Incorrect positioning of the laser home position sensor. Laser power failure. Laser emitting diode problem. Main Logic PWA problem. Check Laser Unit connector for proper connection. Check the Polygonal Mirror Motor operation using Service Code 25-10. Check laser printing by doing a self print (Service Code 64-1). CCD white level is incorrect. (The white reference level, which is read at the start of a copy cycle is abnormal.) Scanner home position sensor (S1) does not turn on when the mirror base returning is completed for the specified time (about 6 sec.) after copy return start.) Mirror unit is defective. Scanner home position sensor (S1) failure. Main Logic PWA failure. Scanner wire harness failure. Check scanning operation using Service Code 1-1 and replace defective components. Main Drive Motor lock. (The Main Drive Motor encoder pulse is not detected for 400 msec.) The Main Drive Motor is defective. Wire harness is defective or disconnected between the Main Logic PWA and the motor. Control circuit failure. Check Main Drive Motor operation Service Code 25-1. Check the wire harness and connectors between Main Logic PWA and Main Drive Motor. Job separator motor abnormality.
