Technical data Rechargeable unit Housing: Plastic, heat sealed, 2.4 V-DC-motor. The transmission of power follows by way of gear train with excenter to the shaft of the brush. 2 built-in batteries, which can be recharged by inductive continuous operating charger (without contact). It compensates the loss of charge in the daily use. Continuous charging. No danger of overloading. Signal by a green LED (light emitting diode). Line voltage: 120 V/ 60 Hz without selecting switch. Power input approx. 1 watt. Container for brushes. Multituft Oscillating brush movements approx. 70° Magnetic switch (reed switch), watertight. Pressure switch, watertight. Length without brush 18.5 cm, diameter 3.2 cm Height 17 cm, length 4.5 cm, width 9.7 cm. for charger approx. 45 minutes when unit was fully charged is equipped with an optical 2-minute timer. indicated by a red LED.

When the capacity of the rechargeable cells is running empty the power unit fails to function immediately. This protects the rechargeable cells from deep discharging. The maintain the motors full power capacity, the power unit should always be stored in the plugged in charging unit after use. The empty capacity is not comparable to a defective power unit. It is important to check the capacity of the rechargeable cells before changing the power unit. 4730 - 4

Cell-Pack Recycling of Braun-Plak Control At the end of the time-of-use of this product, for environmental protection, the nickel/cadmium (NC)-cell pack must be correctly recycled. For this purpose, the following steps are necessary: · · · · Put appliance including lower cap into the opening (located in the back of the charger) and break-off lower cap (see illustration). By applying pressure to the motor shaft, push cell pack with motor assembly out of housing and tear-off both thin connecting wires. Break-off cell pack with PCB from motor and remove the remaining part of the PCB from the cell pack. Remove cell pack out of plastic tube and dispose cells according to local laws or applicable environmental regulations for correct material separation and recycling. The cells must never be thrown into fire or flame.
