ADJUSTMENT AND CONTROLS Pressostat 101 The pressostat ( 101 ) fixed to the boiler has already been adjusted. The adjustment has been secured by glue. To avoid dangerous situations, NEVER try to adjust or readjust the pressostat. IMPORTANT - When the thermal fuse ( 104 ) is open, the boiler has been subjected to too high temperatures. In that case, the complete boiler must be replaced for safety reasons. - To avoid leakage of the sealings and damage to the components in and on the boiler : Never clean the boiler with vinegar, a descaling agent or other chemicals. - When the safety valve, located in the cap ( 30 ), has been activated, the COMPLETE PRODUCT has to be replaced. - THE COMPLETE BOILER HAS TO BE REPLACED WHEN: * the pressostat ( 101 ) doesn't function properly. * the electrovalve ( 103 ) fails or the sieve is soiled with scale. * the thermal fuse ( 104 ), boiler thermostat ( 105 ) or hand - resettable thermostat ( 106 ) are open, because the boiler has been subjected to too high temperatures. - When replacing the sealing of filling opening of the boiler ( 43 ), always add silicone pasta suitable for general purposes. - When the water hardness is higher than 17° DH / 21° Clarke, it's advised to use distilled water. - Due to standardisation, only tube 37 "Y - Y" has been incorporated into the service manual.
