Principle: Battery power supply with eco-friendly nickel hydride batteries. Oscillating head with triple shaving system. Long hair trimmer can be additionally switched on. Charging and accumulator display. Plastic material black. Plastic material silver. Plastic material black. Plastic material black. Plastic material light gray with integrated shaving foil and medium trimmer, can be snapped off by means of a push button switch. Plastic, 2 x 27 cutter blades, 6 mm diameter 2.8 mm (measured at the cutter block). Integral part of housing front part. 1.2 V DC motor. After min 3 minutes recharging time. Min 6,300 RPM. Max. 7,600 RPM. Min. 5,700 RPM. Via eccenter and oscillating frame onto the shaving system. By one built-in rechargeable battery resp. automatically by a built-in battery charger and independently from the mains voltage or frequency. 100 - 240 V 50 - 60 Hz 12 - 240 V 50 - 60 Hz, 12 VDC. Approx. 5 watts 17 mA (without long hair trimmer). From 100 V upwards approx. 1 hour. At 12 V approx. 20 hours. When completely discharged at least 4 hours. Charging light - illuminates by connecting to the mains. - flashes by fully charging battery. Low charge indicator - illuminates at less than 20% capacity. Approx. 35 shaving minutes (after full recharge).

Service Information 5465 Shaving foil (2) Cutter black (3) Swivel Head (4) Housing To be unlocked by pushing button "A" To be removed To be removed. Unscrew bearing screws (6). Take out swivel head (4). Snap out plug pins (16) by means of a needle or a knife remove screws (15). Place the device with it's plug socket (backside downwards) on the edge of a table and press the headcarrier supports downwards.

Dismantling

Isolating foil (12) PCB (11)

To be removed from PCB (11) Insert a screwdriver between the head carrier support and the PCB and snap out the PCB. Remove the PCB. Unsolder the motor connections (Attention is to be paid to the polarity.

Service Information 5465 By means of a tweezer, first press together the snap-on pin "C". At the same time press a narrow screwdriver between the drive (10) and the housing bottom (9) (in front of the snap-on pin), snapping out by turning the screwdriver. Repeat procedure with the snap-on pin "D". Hence remove the drive unit by means of the reciprocal lever effect of the screwdriver.

Head carrier supports (7 + 8) Attention!

Press the housing back (9) on a pad and take off the head carrier supports. Prior to taking off the head carrier supports (7 + 8) the drive unit (10) has to be removed!

Long hair trimmer (14)

To be opened with the slider LHT (14). The slider is to be snapped off upwards at the angle of the hinge Return the LHT to it's original position in front of the housing front part Then remove it from the indentation, turning it 90° horizontally in front of the housing. The slider arm snaps out at the lead slot of the LHT).

Re-assembly

The re-assembly has to be made in reversed order. Attention is to be paid to the following points: Long hair trimmer (14) Lift the slider by approx. 6 mm out of the indentation of the housing cover, fixing it by laying a match underneath. Insert LHT horizontally in front of the housing cover (cutting side to the right with the slider lead slot into the cranked sliding lever head. Then the LHT is to be turned 90° (the cutting side. now, faces downwards), to be placed in the working position and snapped into the hinges. Remove the match.

Service Information 5465 To be inserted prior to re-assembling the drive (10). Attention is to be paid to the correct polarity (The red line is to be connected to the soldering tag marked with a round symbol). The spring contacts have to fit correctly in relation to the plug socket. To be inserted exactly into the bottom (9) in the eccentric area. The parts are held tightly. With the other hand, the housing parts are to be pressed together in the lower area.

To be lubricated with a small amount of Vaseline. To be inserted in head carrier supports with the unlocking pin "B" towards button "A" The eccentric stud must grip exactly in the lead slot of the swivel frame. When the switchplate (19) is in position, head lock and long hair trimmer, the swivel frame (4) has to be secured in the mid position.

Disposal of batteries:

Opening the shaver, described hereafter, destroys the device and has only to be done at the end of the device's lifetime. The cord socket (17) is provided with a screw mechanism to ensure an easy recycling. Open the housing by piercing and turning the mechanism (e.g. with a coin). Now the batteries can be removed and orderly disposed. Used batteries are special garbage and must be disposed of accordingly. This product conforms to the EMC-Requirements as laid down by the council Directive 89/336/EEC.
