There are several types of optical block assemblies and it is sometimes necessary to remove a mounted component when installing a new optical block assembly. In addition to the component outlined in the notice remove the capacitor listed below.

Solution:

Remove the following capacitor when replacing the Optical Block assembly. Removing C168 produces no side effect. REF FORMER DESCRIPTION C168 0.1UF CERAMIC CHIP PART NUMBER 1-163-038-91 DESCRIPTION REMOVE NEW PART NUMBER N/A
