7. Quick Installation Guide: Step 1: Take J1962M to DB9F, Cable. J1962M connector connects to the J1962F that is located at the dashboard. DB9F connector connects to the BST-2K Tester.

Step 2: After the connection your system is ready to Diagnose. Step 3: To upload the data to the PC/Laptop, connect the Adapter connector to the socket. Step 4: To upload the data to the PC/Laptop, connect the RS­232 Serial Cable to the PC/Laptop.

Step 5: Load the application exe from the CD Step 6: Run the Application.

Warning! Don't connect the Adapter when diagnosis is in process with vehicle.

9. Graphic User Interface (GUI) Description: Step 1: Download the Application "BST-2K Tester.exe" & "pdflib.dll" from the CD. Step 2: Connect the Serial Port to the Tester & PC. Step 3: Connect the Adaptor. I/P- 230Volt/50 Hz.& O/P- 09 Volt DC, Current ­ 500 / 1000 mA

Step 5: The BST-2K Tester.exe will open as follows:

Step 6: Select the COM PORT settings as per PC. Step 7: Click the "Connect Tester" Button Step 8: BST-2K Tester .exe software will read the Error code stored in the Tester and the Progress Bar will move on as shown below:

Step 9: The data transmission completed information will come at the LCD screen of the Handheld Tester. It'll display:

Step 10: Then click "Export to PDF" Button to transfer the entire content to your selected PDF file. Step11: After entire data will be transferred to the "Adobe Acrobat PDF" then press the "Disconnect Hardware" followed by "EXIT" button in the Graphic User Interface and "RESET the BST-2K Tester". 10. Warranty Guidelines:
The company provides 12 months repair service including parts and labour, however warranty for enclosure, skin cases, carrying straps, Stickers or any other accessories are not covered under warranty. 1. This warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only. 2. Repair or adjustments will be carried out through the Company. 3. In the event of repairs/replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period. 4. The company reserves the right to retain any part/s or component/s replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period. 5. Any change of address shall be intimated to concerned service centre for continuation of warranty. Warranty for the unexpired period shall continue after the concerned service centre inspects the product and the product is found free from transit damage. 6. The warranty does not cover demonstration/ installation of the product purchased. 7. The warranty does not cover any accessories external to the system. 8. The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of part/s, which are found to be detective. 9. Any part/s of the system replaced by the company at it's discretion shall be with a functionally operative part. 10. The company is liable to provide the service support only for the models sold and marketed by Pragathi Solutions.

THIS WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CASES: 1. 2. 3. 4. The product is not purchased from Pragathi Solutions. The product is not used according to instructions given in the instruction manual. Defects caused by improper use as determined by the company personnel. Modification or alteration of any nature is made in the electrical circuitry/ or physical construction of the set. 5. Installation/ repair work is carried out by persons/agency other than authorized by the company. 6. Site (premises where the product is kept) conditions that do not confirm to the recommended operating conditions of the tester.
