For adjusting these models, the Adjust manual and the Adjust station are required.
Adjust station
It is the software to start up Adjust manual for each model.
Adjust manual
It is the software to adjust and check digital cameras and camcorders for service. The executable file (.exe) for each
model is available.
For the operating procedure of the Adjust manual, start up the Adjust manual software and refer to "About the
Adjust manual software" on the `NOTE' tab.
Note: In case of updating the Adjust manual or the Adjust station program, install with overwriting it.
1. System Requirements
OS: Windows 2000 Professional
Windows XP Professional
Windows XP Home Edition
Windows Vista
RAM: 256 MB or more recommended (Windows 2000, Windows XP)
1 GB or more recommended (Windows Vista)
USB port: USB 2.0 recommended (also compatible with USB 1.1)
Two ports are required.
Run time: .NET Framework 2.0
(.NET Framework 2.0 is installed at Adjust station installation, if it is not installed.)

2. Installation
Note 1: Execute the installation with administrator authority.
Note 2: Be sure to install the Adjust station first.
Note 3: Do not change the folder the program is forwarded to.
2-1. Adjust station Installation
1. Download the Adjust station (AdjustStation_Ver .zip) from ESI home page.
2. Double-click setup.exe.
Go to Step 3 when .NET Framework 2.0 is not installed.
Go to Step 8 when .NET Framework 2.0 has been installed already.
3. The confirmation window to start .NET 2.0 Framework installation appears.
Click [Yes].
4. The .NET Framework 2.0 setup window appears.
Click [Next].

5. End-User License Agreement window appears.
Read it and check the box of [I accept the terms of the License Agreement].
6. The window changes as shown below.
Click [Install]. Installation starts.

7. When .NET Framework 2.0 is installed, the set up completion window appears.
Click [Finish].
8. The installation window appears.
Click [Next].
9. The window for selecting destination folder appears.
Click [Next].

10. When installation is completed, the window shown below appears.
Click [Finish]. The installer is closed.
11. The shortcut icon of Adjust station is created on the desktop.
2-2. Adjust manual Installation
Note 1: Before the Adjust manual installation, be sure the Adjust station is already installed.
Note 2: Do not change the initially set folder the program is forwarded to.
1. Download the Adjust manual (DCR-SR87 Series AM Ver_ . r .zip) from ESI home page.
2. Double-click setup.exe.
3. The installation window appears.
Click [Next]. Adjust manual installation starts.

4. The window for selecting destination folder appears.
Click [Next].
5. When installation is completed, the window shown below appears.
Click [Finish]. The installer is closed.
3. Directory
After installation is completed, the directory is created in the Program Files folder.
C\Program Files\Sony adj\Adjust station
C\Program Files\Sony adj\Adjust manual\DCR-SR87 Series

4. Uninstallation
1. Select [Control panel] from Windows [Start] menu.
2. Double-click [Add or Remove Programs] icon.
3. Select the program to be uninstalled (Adjust station or Adjust manual for each model), and click [Remove].
4. The confirmation window to uninstall the program appears.
Click [Yes].
5. When uninstallation is completed, the uninstall completion window shown below appears.
Click [Finish].
6. In case other programs is uninstalled, repeat steps 3 to 5.

Adjust station Operation Guide
1. Starting up Adjust station and Adjust manual
1. Double-click the Adjust station shortcut icon on the desktop.
2. The Adjust station main window appears.
3. Enter the model name to be adjusted in the [Direct Search] box, and then click [OK].
Note: For searching the model name, refer to "2. Search Function".

4. Adjust manual for the specified model starts up. The Adjust station main window is minimized.

2. Search Function
Four methods to enter the product name on the Adjust station main screen are described below.
Method 1
Enter the model name directly in the [Direct Search] box and click [OK].
Note: In case the program for input model does not exist or the incorrect model name is entered, the window shown below appears.
Click [OK], and re-enter the correct model name.
Method 2
Recently used model names (maximum ten) are displayed in the [Recent files] box.
Click the model name in the [Recent files] box. The model name is displayed in the [Direct Search] box.

Method 3
Enter the several leading characters in the [Direct Search] box. The model names begin with meet the characters are displayed.
Click a model name. The model name is displayed in the [Direct Search] box. Click [OK] to confirm.

Method 4
Enter some characters in the model name in the [Direct Search] box, and click [Search].
The [Recent files] box changes to [Result search] and the search result is displayed.
The scroll bar is displayed in case search result is 11 or more.
