INSTALLATION AND TUNING
Menu System.
TV uses on-screen menu system and graphics to guide you
through the operations. Before you start automatic tuning.
Switch on equipment connected via the aerial lead to produce
a test picture (VCR/Satellite). Scart leads can be connected after
auto-search.
Initial Automatic Setting Up
Press the On/Off key to switch on the set. After several seconds
The TV screen will light up and show a snowy screen.
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select
"Tune"
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Auto Search".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to start the auto-tune search. The TV
will show auto-search and tuning bars will show to indicate the
tuning progressing through the TV bands. The TV will show
each station as they are located and then automatically stored in
order of reception.
4. When tuning has been completed the Tuning menu will
disappear and the first station will be shown on the TV.
Subsequent Automatic Installation
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select
"Tune"
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Auto Search".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to start the auto-tune search. The TV will show auto-search
and tuning bars will show to indicate the tuning progressing through the TV bands. The
TV will show each station as they are located and then automatically stored in order of
reception.
4. When tuning has been completed the Tuning menu will disappear and the first station
will be shown on the TV.
Language
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select "Setup"
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Multi".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to select "English"
4. Press Menu key to exit.

Manual Installation
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select "Tune".
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Search".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to start searching up or down the frequency when a TV
station is located the station will show.
4. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Program".
5. Press Vol Up/Down key to select which position to store the TV station.
i.e. BBC1=1, BBC2=2 and so on. If the picture requires fine-tuning follow step 6b.
6a. To store the station press the Ch Up/Down key until "Store" shows.
7. Press Vol Up/Down key to store the station. Repeat steps 2-7 above and store the
remaining TV channels in your area.
Fine Tuning
6b. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Fine-tune". Press Vol Up/Down key to fine-tune
until you receive the best picture and sound.
Band
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select "Tune".
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Band".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to select UHF/VHF-L/VHF-H.
Skip
To delete unwanted channels,
1. Press Menu key and using the Volume Up/Down keys select "Tune".
2. Press Ch Up/Down key to select "Skip".
3. Press Vol Up/Down key to select "ON".
To return the channel repeat steps 1-3 select "OFF".
