Make the insulationtest as follows: Short-circuit the two plug pins of the mains plug and connect to one of tle terminals of the insulation tester, Connect the other terminal of the insulation tester to the chassisof the TP 1 socket (screenf pin 2). NB! To aooid ruining the set, it is essentialthat both tenninals of the insulatinn testerale in really good, mecfumicalcontact. Now slowly hrn the voltagecontrol of the insulation tester until a voltageof 1.5- 2 kV is obtained" Hold it there for 1 second,then slowly turn the voltage down again At no point during the testing procedure any flash. overs are permissible.
