4. Vs, Va voltage adjustment (See Label Location on Next Page) Adjustment part: Preparation Turn on the set and perform pre-heat run more than 1 minute with a snow noise screen. Receive full black pattern (blanking level) signal (or Video No signal; in this case, it will be automatically turned off after a few seconds because of power save function). Connect voltmeter leads to the Vs or Va and GND test points on power unit. · (Measurement error of voltmeter should be Less than 0.02V) Adjustment (1) Turn Vs ADJ to adjust Vs voltage to be within 0.1V of the value specified in the label on the panel. *1 (2) Turn Va ADJ to adjust Vs voltage to be within 0.2V of the value specified in the label on the panel. *1 (3) (3) Reconfirm that Vs voltage remains within 0.1V of the value. Readjust if It's outside the margin. Label example *2 Remarks N6 Vs=80.0V Va=60.0V V· =140.0V Vx=60.0V *1. Permissive level of voltage in case sufficient time of heat-run performed. (1) Swivel Doesn't Show up on Customer's Menu. Not Swivel control. · If the connector from the Plasma Unit to the Swivel Base is connected incorrectly, the Customer's Menu will not show "Swivel" and there will be no control over the Swivel base. · Check the Connector. This picture show the Correct condition of the Connector from the Plasma Unit to the Swivel Base. Make sure the ribbon connector is connected with the ribbon on the right hand side as viewed from the Rear. This is the Correct condition of the Connector.

(2) Sounds Coming from the Plasma. Sounds change dependant upon Picture Content. Usually an all white picture will produce the sounds. After the unit warms up, the sound my disappear or diminish. Some mechanical Sound coming from the Plasma unit is normal. See Description from the Owner's Manual below. However, another possibility is that some of the screws holding the Panel to the internal Metal Frame may be loose. Please check the torque of these screws for proper seating and security. Arching sound from plasma display monitor's panel. From Page 6 of the Operator's Guide A buzzing sound might be heard when the plasma display monitor is turned on in a very quiet room. This is due to the plasma panel drive circuit when it is functioning. This arching sound is normal and it is not a malfunction.
