2nd, Check the *BLU P/N on *BLU Label

Replace 5th, Update the Software
LED Array - SMART TV: Use the normal process for updating the Software automatically
from the web. (Settings Support Software Update).
If necessary and Internet is not available, update via USB by visiting
www.LG.com/us/tv, search for your model, click on your model, click the
Update TV Product Support Button, click on Downloads. Then click on the download link
Software for the software file and then download the Instructions.
5th: New Software Release Non-Smart TV: Please download the Software from www.LG.com/us/tv. Search for your specific model, click
on your model link, click the Product Support button, click the link "Software Update". Download the Software and the Instructions.

01 Separate the board (Main/Power/T-CON)

Attachment. Warning Using a Suction Balance Bar
Use only on LCD Panels that are room temperature. Do not use this on a "Hot" LCD panel.
If using a Suction Balance Bar available locally at most all home improvement stores, there is a
warning you should be aware of before use.
It is best to use (2) of these to easily support the LCD panel when removing it or installing it.

INCORRECT:
On either suction cup side there is a lever. Normally this
lever is lifted all the way up, p
y p, press down on the suction cup

and then press down on the lock.
DO NOT LIFT THE LOCK TO MAXIMUM ON AN LCD PANEL.
The suction is too strong and will damage the panel.
CORRECT
CORRECT:
Lift the lock only about ˝ way, press down on the

suction cup and then press down on the lock.
You may use a light spray (on the suction cups of CORRECT:
water or Window cleaner to assist in suction). This will provide a
gentle suction which will
not damage the panel.
CONFIRM:
You can gently pull on the Suction bar to assure it has
gained suction on the panel.
Follow the same procedure on the remaining (3) locks.
Removing:
Lift all 4 locks, (2 on each bar). You may need to use your fingers on the rubber

suction cup t lift and allow air to enter so th t th suction cup will release. U a
micro fiber cloth to gently clean off any marks on the panel.
