second port. When the test for the third port is completed, a receipt is issued, resulting
that this test is completed.

4.8 Print Pattern Printing

4.8 Print Pattern Printing
(1) Contents
Characters of character codes 20h to 7Fh are printed continuously, shifting by character to the left.
After 49 lines pattern printing is performed, a COUNT line printing is performed. This performance
(49 lines pattern printing + a COUNT line printing) will be repeated.
Depressing the [Department 26] key (for MA-1535)/[MENU 2] key (for FS-1535) in default key
layout will pause printing (the [FEED] key is operable in this condition), and depressing this key
again will restart printing.
Depressing the [CPN] key (for MA-1535)/[AT/TL] key (for FS-1535) in default key layout will
complete printing.

4.9 Conventional RAM Read/Write Test
CAUTION!
When this test is completed, RAM clear is performed which deletes all programmed data and sales
data stored in the memory of the ECR. (i.e., the ECR goes back to initial status.)

(1) Contents
The Conventional RAM (1M bit) is checked.
This test is repeated until the [CPN] key (for MA-1535)/[AT/TL] key (for FS-1535) in default key
layout is depressed.

(2) Operation
Control Lock: BLIND
8011 [AT/TL]

(3) Print Sample

Every 10 times of this test, Date, Time, and Frequency of the test are printed.

As of the end of this test, Date, Time, and Frequency of the test are printed.

NOTES: 1. Depressing the [CPN] key (for MA-1535)/[AT/TL] key (for FS-1535) in default key layout
will issue a receipt, resulting that this test is completed. At this time, RAM clear is
performed.
