This publication is intended for VM/370 users who
plan to use any of the System/360 or System/370
operating systems that are supported under VM/370.
As such, it is directed to the system programmer, the
system operator, as well as to the general user. The
manual includes sections on how to configure your
virtual machine, how to use the VM/370 commands,
and how to perform your system generation under
VM/370. Other sections cover the running of
DOS/VS and OS/VS under VM/370. Still other
sections contain system planning and general oper-
ating information and considerations.
Users of the Conversational Monitor System (CMS),
the Remote Spooling Communications Subsystem
(RSCS), or the Interactive Problem Control System
(lPCS) are directed to the respective User's Guides.
