6-i" INTRODUCTION TO THIS SECTION
This section contains information for orderingperts. Table 6-l liste assemblies within the instrument
that may be replacedon an exchangebasis. Table 6-2 lista referencedesignationsand abbreviations
that areusedin the Replaceable PactsList. Table 6-3 lists all replaceable
part8 in the instrument. Table
6-4 contains the names and addresses that correspondto the manufacturer'scode numbers listed in
Table 6-3. Also included in this sectionarephotographsand drawingsto aid in identifying end ordering
chassismounted parts and mechanicalparts.
6-2. RESTORED ASSEMBLIES
Table 6-l lists assemblieswitbin the instrument that may be replacedon an exchangebasis, tbue
affording a considerablecost savinge.Exchange,factory-repairedand t&ad assembliesare available
only on a trade-in basis;therefore,the defectiveassemblies
must be returnedfor credit. For this reason,
assembliesrequiredfor spareparts stock must be orderedby the new assemblypart number.
6-3. REFERENCE DESIGNATIONS AND,ABBREVlATlONS USED IN THIS MANUAL
Table 6-2 lists the referencedesignation letters for electrical parte in the instrument. The letter
designationsfound in Table 6-2 are coupledwith muneric designationsta provide a unique reference
designation for each part in the instrument. For example AlAlRl is the referencedesignationof a
particular resihr Rl on assemblyAlAl.
Table 6-2 also lista abbreviationsusedin the parts hat and on schematics.
