DAS-4100 Series Addendum
This document describes changes made to the DAS-4100 Series boards in
order to achieve compliance with the European EMC directive 89/336
EEC (CE Mark certification). In addition, this document provides
additional information about the boards that was not available when the
user's guides were printed.
Clock Output
Pin 5 of U700 (74ABT125) has been lifted in order to disable the clock
output function. If you connect multiple DAS-4100 Series boards and
want to use one internal clock for all the boards, you need to replace the
pin.
New Bracket
To prevent radiation from the openings around the SMB connectors, a
new bracket is now used with an RF gasket on the DAS-4100 Series
boards.
DAS-4100 Series Boards in an Expansion Chassis
The DAS-4100 Series boards do not operate in an expansion chassis. You
must install these boards in the host computer.
