clean the surface. Visual observation
was used to qualitatively evaluate the
cleaning action. A cleaned example is
shown in Figure 2.
Phase 2: Evaluation of The

Three solutions from Table 1 exhibited

Phase 3: Testing for Remaining
Residues
Cleaning residueslefi on the connector

ing the effects of atmospheric corro-
sion on metal surfaces and degrading
the electrical insulation of substrate
materials. Corrosion of the metal sur-
faces was tested using an accelerated
