Subject: Correction of the firmware of DPMS (D&M Product Management
Server).
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: 1) "AutoLipSync" does not work.
2) DVD disc Schiller "Tagtraum" might be not reproduced.
3) When DVD software "15 Minutes" was reproduced, the unit might stop.
4) When BD software "THE HAPPENING" was reproduced, a menu screen does
not output after updating of the unit for BD "AVATAR".
5) When BD software "Clash of the Titans" was reproduced, a sound might be
outputted.
6) Shortened time of the interval between turn on the power to operation being
enabled.
7) We are modified unit by indication from the DVD Copy Control Association
(DVD CCA).
Solution: We corrected the firmware so that no malfunction occurs
METHOD OF UPDATE via DPMS (D&M Product Management Server)
Caution: It is necessary to initialize the unit before the update work begins. The
customer has to initialize their BD/DVD Player. Please update the firmware after
you confirm this matter to the customer beforehand.
Updating the firmware (Refer to the Service Manual pg. 32).

Confirmation of the version:
(1) Press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button and open the Disc Tray.
(2) Remove the Disc from the Tray.
(3) Please confirm! "NO DISC" on the FL Display.
(4) While pushing the "SOURCE" and "SKIP -" button, plug in AC CORD.
(5) The version of the firmware will be indicated on the FL Display.
(6) Push the "STATUS" button on the Remote controller, version of the each
firmware will be indicated on the FL Display.

Please apply the above modification to the models in the following serial numbers.
