This is a major revision of, and obsoletes, GC33-5379-1
This edition applies to Version 5, Release 29, of the IBM Disk Operating System,
DOS/VS, and to all susequent versions and releases until otherwise indicated in new
editions or Technical Newsletters.
Changes are continually made to the information herein; before using this publication in
connection with the operation if IBM systems, consult the latest IBM System/360 and
System/370 Bibliography,GA22-6822, for the editions that are applicable and current.


If the functions listed below are available as a separate component and
your system does not include this component, the information about these
functions is included for planning purposes only. The functions are:

Overlapping I/O operations by means of the EXCPAD exit.
