SYMPTOM: If the power LED on front of the TV is turning ON for 10-20 seconds, OFF for
1-2 second and keeps repeating, the problem is most likely IC5750A. Affected models are
the 2009 & 2010 TVs (LCD and Plasma) listed.


IC5750A is located under the large shield. IC 5750A is a 48 pin NAND FLASH IC with
easy access for replacement. This will fix +80% of the boards with the symptom below.

You must use the 3

P42840-04 SW84 SW82 software will need to be changed with the use of a USB drive.

P46840-02 SW84 SW82 Note : Only use this software in the Sanyo TVs listed.
If used in wrong chassis, it could cause TV not to come

(ONLY FOR 2009 MODELS)
This guide is divided into 4 sections/pages depending on type of defect:
page 1) No Green LED Power Light (LED never turns "ON")
page 2) Green LED Light is "ON", but Backlights are not "ON", or only turn "ON &
then OFF".
page 3) Green LED Light is "ON", and Backlights are "ON", but there is no video/OSD.
page 4) Green LED Light turns "ON", but turns "OFF" within 10 seconds.

Please select the section/page that matches your defect and follow the flow chart.

On Main Signal Bd.: no: 0V
Is the "5V_STBY" voltage
supplied?
(see TABLE *1)




Unplug (K8B) connector on Main Bd. no: 0V Power Bd. is not working.
On Power Bd.:
Replace "Power Bd."
Is the "5V_STBY"voltage supplied?
(see TABLE *2)
yes: 5V

yes: 5V


Replace "Main Bd."
and "Wiring Harness"




Confirm wire harness connections.
And confirm LED again.




On Main Signal Bd. no: 0V
Is the "5V_STBY" voltage
on "K8CTR 1Pin" ?



Main Bd. is not working.
yes: 5V Replace "Main Bd".



While pushing the
"Power Key SW": is the 5V from No voltage (0V) at K8CTR pin 3, or 5V always present.
"KEY SW" supplied to "K8CTR
3pin"?


Key Switch Assy. unit will be broken.
Replace "Key Switch Assy."
yes


Main Bd. is not working.
Replace "Main Bd"

Are the 12V and 24V supplied from no: 0V
Pwer Bd.?

On Main Bd. Main Bd. is not working.
Is 5V supllied to "Power ON/OFF SW" no: 0V
Replace "Main Bd."
(see TABLE*2)

yes

yes: 5V


Replace: "Power Bd."
and "Wire Harness"




On Main Bd.:
Is the "BL_ON" voltage (3.3V) no: 0V
supplied from Main Bd.?
(see TABLE*3)


Main Bd. is not working.
Replace "Main Bd."
yes: 3.3V




Confirm wire harness connection. note #1
Especially between Power Bd. and If the model is DP46849-00, DP46849-03, or DP46819-00 ,
Inverter Bd. please order the SMPS, in adition to the Inverter. These
Yes. versions have a HV Transformer that may not be working.
Change the SMPS first, if that does not fix the no BL
problem, then change the Inverter.
Inverter Bd. or LCD Panel is not working. This note only applies to these three 46" units.
1st: Replace "Inverter Bd." (see note #1)
If Inverter Bd. does not correct problem, then:

but no video or OSD.
LCD Backlights are ON.
But, TV has no video or OSD.




On Main Bd.:
Are the 12V and 24V supplied no: 0V
from Pwer Bd.?

Replace "Power Bd."
yes and "Wire harness".



Is power to T-CON supllied no: 0V
from Main Bd.?
(see TABLE*2)



Main Bd. is not working.
yes Replace "Main Bd."




Is LVDS Clock outputed? no: 0V or 1.1V constant
(see TABLE*3)



Main Bd. is not working.
Replace "Main Bd."
yes




Confirm LVDS cable connection.
And check for video/OSD again.




T. Cnt. Bd. or LCD Panel is not working.
1st: Replace "T. Cnt. Bd. & LVDS Cable".
If T. Cnt. Bd. & LVDS Cable does not
correct problem, then:
2nd: Replace "LCD Panel"
