IBM Study Organization Plan
The Approach
This manual introduces the IBM Study Organization Plan
(SOP) and describes its use in the study and design of
business systems through three phases: Understanding the
present business; Determining system requirements;
Designing the new system. It also discusses formulating
and analyzing goal-directed activities, and planning and
performing a system study.
