Matsui28N03Service mode enteringAdj HT for 151V ± 0.5V (16:9) TSP28 Switch on TV whilst holding down MENU on TV until red LED on. Press St/by on R/C - TV will default to prog 1 or AV. Select funct with P+ / P- on R/C & adj with Vol+/-. Note initial values before changing. 1. IF video setting (IFxx AFCxx) needs special equipt - only reqd for ICC2 N1version - has coil LC7 fitted - adjust IF & AFC to approx values on label left side of main PCB, adjust as follows: IF 50; AFC 3 2. Init (INIT CTV 831 x (VERSION) enabled withVol + key & must be carried out whenever NVM memory or micro is replaced - init erases all data from memory except bytes option. 3. Screen grid voltage (Vg2 Test) Press Vol+ key. A luminous hor line appears in middle of screen. Adjust G2 so the the line is just visible then press Vol- & wait for a few secs until service mode is restored. 4. Control bytes (Cox) set as follows:Co4 00; Co3 27; Co2 96 5. Option bytes (Opx) Correct values given on back label alongside Op3, Op2 & Op1. 6. Audio/stereo A2 decoder (LA/SA) allow adjust of R/L audio separation An RF stereo gen is reqd. Dis modulation to LH chan & adj LA for 1.4Vp-p pin 1 of SCART 1 . Adj SA for min residual signal at pin 3 SCART 1. If stereo gen unavailable, set LA to 01 & SA to 0B for a fair approx. 7. Setting lum/chrom delay(Yx)use following values: Vp 18 (PAL) (UK VERSIONS); Vs 30 (SECAM); Vn 20 (NTSC); Yo 22 (SCART) Yn function only accessible if NTSC coded (standard accepted only by SCART) 8. On screen display (OSD)Load fixed value 3F. (AUDIO MENU APPEARS) 9. White control (WB/WG/WR) Use B & W bar signal, adj for correct grey scale. 10. Hor geometry (TC/CP/PW/EW/HSH) 2 groups of functions, 4:3 format (suffix 4) & 16:9 format (suffix 16), both must be adj as they are used in zoom funct TC Trapezium correction (The 4 adjusts appear in 4x3 & 16x9); CP Corner parabola corr; PW Parabola corr; EW Horizontal ampl; HSH Hor shift - 4:3 format enter EW16 = 3F to ensure proper zooming. 11. Vert geometry (SC/VSH/VA/VS) start with VS (vert slope) central horiz line of test signal is exactly between visible image & black part below and must not be changed again. Functions of single parameters: SC Vert S-correction (linearity); VSH Vert shift; VA Vert amplitude; VS Vert slope 12. AGC tuner setting (AG) -signal of lmV to the ae I/P adj to 4Vdc pin 1 of tuner. 13. De-activating service mode - press TV or MENU OFF on R/C to save & return to normal.14-09-04
