Symptom: Regarding the subject model, we will use the following substitute Tuner Packs due to the discontinuation of the production of the present Tuner Pack by the original manufacturer. Solution: 1) We will replace the original Tuner Pack with the following Pack due to the discontinued production of the Original Tuner Pack. 2) After the above, the 1st substitute Tuner Pack made by Mitsumi will be replaced with the following 2nd substitute Tuner Pack made by the Alps due to the discontinued production of the 1st substitute Tuner Pack by Mitsumi. ______________________________________________________________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: The information contained in this document is intended for the exclusive use by DENON Authorized Service Centers and their employees. UPON MAINTENANCE SERVICE: 1) After replacement, the Tuner Packs (00D 216 0113 000 and 00D 216 0117 006) made by Mitsumi can be similarly used without paying special care. 2) The shape of the FM Antenna terminal of the Alps's Tuner Pack (00D 216 0109 001) differs from the Mitsumi's FM Antenna terminal. Therefore, please replace the Tuner Pack according to the followings when the replacement is needed upon service. (The FM Antenna terminal of the Mitsumi's Tuner Pack is equipped with the screw type F terminal. However, the FM terminal of the Alps's Tuner Pack is equipped with the PAL/F terminal (without screw) that is compatible with the European PAL terminal.
