File name NSM3-023.PDF CONFIDENTIAL 1 (1) Nokia Mobile Phones Service Bulletin No. SB-023/10.05.00 Technical Support, Europe & Africa NSM-3 MODIFICATION FOR JBU-6 (SCD-6) In some cases there have been problems with Service Box (JBU-6) while tuning NSM-3. The problem occurs, if 1800 MHz channels and the highest power level are used. Then it is possible that RF 'goes in' to the MBUS line of SCD-6 module, causing several kind of malfunctions in phone (switches off etc.). Note: If the phone works fine during the tuning, no further actions are needed. To prevent above mentioned interference a shielded cable for SCD-6 module has been taken in use. All JBU-6 Service Boxes are equipped with a new SCD-6 modified module since production code HD1403618 (April 2000) (see type label in the bottom of the Service Box). Also all spare part SCD-6 cables, produced in April or later, are modified. NSM-3 SB-023 | ||
