Proceeding Grade Parts Compatibility Handling of Modified Parts Action ASAP Compatible Free of Charge Action as given below Conditionally Compatible Conditionally Chargeable Action if required Not Compatible Chargeable Refer in need Old Obsolete SUBJECT: 444-42028-009 Sensor KH0698-20 020-11754-000 Paper Sensor Cover 2 Brief: 020-11755-006 Paper Sensor Cover 2 (Upper) The design of the Paper Sensor Covers are changed, and the Paper Sensor is also changed. The sponge (020-11753-1009) placed inside the previous Paper Sensor Cover (Upper) is now omitted. Reason: Paper dust was reported to accumulate inside the former design Paper Sensor Covers. Modification: The design change is made on the sensor covers to eliminate small gap openings which allowed the paper dust to get in. The sponge, which existed inside the former upper sensor cover, is now omitted after the design change to eliminate the small gap openings. The PCB portion of the Paper Sensor is redesigned (the shape is changed) at the same time to allow elimination of the gap holes between the sensor and the covers. CAUTION: Newly-registered Part If any one of the three (3) OLD type parts is to be changed to 444-42028-009 Sensor KH0698-20 a NEW part, all three parts needs to be changed to NEW 020-11754-000 Paper Sensor Cover 2 parts at the same time. The NEW parts are compatible on 020-11755-006 Paper Sensor Cover 2 (Upper) all existing RN machines only if all three parts are replaced to NEW parts at the same time. OLD parts and NEW parts cannot be mixed on a machine. 020-11753-100 Pad; 12x12x12 The OLD parts are still available from the Parts Center. 020-11741-102
