Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer. Symptom: Improvement of SLED hunting. Solution: We improved the software in the Back-end so that no malfunction occurs. MODIFICATION: We will supply the following program files for updating the Back-end firmware. Therefore, please record the Folder (includes the firmware) onto a blank CD-R separately and individually, and update the firmware in the Back-end on your customer's unit upon claim. Cautions: 1) When recording the file(s) on a blank CD-R, the format shall be "ISO9660" and the session shall be "CLOSE". 2) When recording the program file on the CD-R, please record it at the 4-times speed of the normal speed. 3) When the 4-times speed is not available, please record it at the minimum speed that is available in your machine. 4) If the file was recorded at a high speed, such as 32 or 48 times speed of the normal speed, the upgrading may fail due to the data incorrectly recorded on the CD-R. ______________________________________________________________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: The information contained in this document is intended for the exclusive use by DENON Authorized Service Centers and their employees. Update procedures: Caution: During the update operation, do not turn off the AC Power or do not change the function of the unit by any means. 1) Turn the Power of the unit on. 2) Press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button to open the Tray. 3) Place the CD-R disc for updating on the Tray. 4) Press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button to close the Tray. 5) The update operation starts, the Display indicates "COMPLETE" upon completion of the update, and the operation stops after the Tray opened. 6) Turn the Power of the unit off. 7) At the Test Mode, confirm that the Version is the latest one. Confirmation of the Version: (1) Turn off the Power switch of the unit once. While holding the "PLAY/PAUSE" and "STOP OPEN/CLOSE" buttons on the unit down simultaneously, switch the Power on.
