This publication provides the 1410/7010 Operating System user with the detailed infDrmation necessary for implementation of the sort- ing program. In addition to providing general information on the sorting program, and data on its features and specifica- tions, this manual describes the nature of the Sort Definition program, the control cards used to form a sort or merge program, how the program is modified via control cards at object time to fit the particular application, and how the user includes his own pro- gramming to perform modifications.
