Hardened dirt can be removed with a paint brush, cotton tipped swab or cloth dampened with a water and mild detergent solution. Avoid the use of chemical cleaning agents that might damage the plastic parts. SPECIFIC COMPONENT REPLACEMENT INFORMATION Disconnect the instrument from the power source before removing or replac- ing components. The pushbutton switches are not repairable and should be replaced if defec- tive. Components which are mounted on the circuit board associated with the pushbutton switch can be replaced using the normal replacement procedure.
