Philips32pw6515hi my philips tv (32pw6515) is now stuck in standby (red led on) and no responce from either the on-board controls or remote? the fault on your philips tv is probably ic7064. also known as the painter ic, on the small signal board, this ic seems to be responsible for over 90% of faults on this chassis. it is a 100 pin surface mount device. i would not recommend trying to replace it unless you have a good amount of experience at soldering very small devices as it is not much bigger than a stamp, you will also need to reprogramme the eeprom ic with the options and geometry settings after replacement, i have done more than 30 and it takes me upto 2 hours31-10-05
