SDM does not work by shorting service pins.
Measure pin 19 of SIMM connector 0226 on LSP, if it is 2V (normal is 1V) then add a resistor of 1K8 between pin 19 of the SIMM connector and ground. Make sure counting left from pin 1, do not use the pin no. printed on service print! See attached ph
