Dull pic, poor contrast
Check if "ECO" mode has been set - press the I "Information button and Mute button at the same time to enter the service mode. Choosing 6 (Picture settings) from the VSM menu you can set up the contrast and brilliance settings etc in all the preset modes that this set offers (EI Warm, Cool, Normal etc)
